Yumiko Wakamine
Lives in Nagano, Japan.
Her compositions are done in pencil. In recent years, she has been exploring new forms of expression through drawing on traditionally handmade Japanese washi paper.
In March 2022, she published the exhibition catalogue "Inspiration" on the occasion of her solo exhibition at MM Books in Mino city. There, she encountered Mino Washi paper made using traditional methods and began drawing on it.
In October 2022, she held the solo exhibition "Inspiration" at Morioka Shoten Ginza in Tokyo.
In December 2024, she held the exhibition "Dragon’s Birthday" in Kyoto, Nara, and Tokyo.
Her works have also been shown in group exhibitions including the Emiowasu 20th Anniversary exhibition Blessings in Tokyo and Okayama in 2025, and Hokusai: Art Beyond Boundaries in the United Kingdom in 2024.
She also created the cover illustration for "Even though good things always last" by Sayaka Osaki, published by Kawade Shobo Shinsha.

若峯 弓子（わかみね ゆみこ）
多摩美術大学卒業。鉛筆で絵を描いている。近年は日本の伝統的な製法で漉かれた和紙に描き表現を模索している。
